Information for Teacher’s interested in using the Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns tutor books and CDs

We ask that any bagpipe teachers who are considering using the Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns educational materials, first please take a moment to read the information provided on these tutor books and CDs at Educational Materials Summary

If a bagpipe teacher decides that they would like to use the Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns educational materials, they must be willing to:
  • Sign a Teacher’s Agreement with Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns that states that:


    • The Teacher will not copy or re-distribute any of this material (in whole or in part) without the express prior written consent of Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns, and


    • If the Teacher chooses to resell the books or CDs to his/her students, that:


      • Any transactions between the Teacher and his/her clients does not involve Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns,
      • The Teacher agrees that he/she will not exceed the suggested retail price for all educational materials, and
      • Any profit or loss derived from the resale of these educational materials will be retained by, or the sole responsibility of the Teacher (as applicable).
Once the Teacher’s Agreement has been signed and returned to Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns, the bagpipe teacher will be required to purchase a minimum requirement of ten tutor books. This will establish a credit history and show that the teacher has a volume of students.

Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns will sell the educational materials (books and CDs) to the bagpipe teacher at a discounted price. The teacher is then authorized to resell these educational materials to their students. After the initial order of ten tutor books has been filled, the bagpipe teacher may purchase subsequent tutor books and CDs in any quantity.

Bagpipe teachers that have decided to use these educational materials and agree to the terms above, will need to contact Bagpipe Solutions by John Cairns to obtain a secure password that allows you to download the Teacher’s Agreement Form, the current price list for tutor books and CDs and an article on Teaching Strategies.
