This tune was written by John for Betty McLeod, who along with her husband (Bill) shared the quartermaster duties for the Peel Regional Police (grade 1) Pipe Band until 2012.
Betty would often be seen at practice moving through the halls dancing a strathspey travel step to the band’s music … hence the inspiration behind the title.
