This tune was written when John was a member of the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band.
The inspiration came from a reality TV show called “Inked” in which one of the cast members (Dizzle) was challenged to come up with a rap song for a local radio station. The rhythm he created set John’s mind in motion and The Dizzle was written. You can hear Dizzle’s inspirational rap rhythm on the audio track that accompanies the music – in the 4th measure.
